Gyro Screen:

New technology shifter is giving horizontal, vertical and circular mechanical vibration. Vibro shifter is for screening dry powder or wet medium. It is also useful for separation solid-solid or solid-liquid and classification of solid. It is rigid screening device, which vibrates with the screen above its center of mass. The whole mass is suspended on coil springs, which gives thrust to screening unit by its own compression and decompression. Spring allows a unit to vibrates freely and also prevent transmission of vibration on the floor. The number of screen decks and spacing frame assembled on a circular base frame. A screen is uniformly tensioned in all direction by a center support. The specially designed vibrating motor generates vibration. Eccentric shaft is fixed on both side extended motor shaft. The eccentric weight rotates with motor and generates vibration of whole masks.

How Gyro Shifter works:

Material for screening is to be fed into upper screen deck. Fine material enters into the lower deck after the pass from top screen and coarser remain over a screen. Material over each deck is automatically discharged from individual discharge spout. Oversize material discharge rate can be increased by increasing horizontal throw. A horizontal throw is increased by rotation of upper eccentric mass. Maximum vertical vibration is desirable to clean the screen and dislodges material. Vertical and tangential plane vibration is changed by lower weight. An angular position of upper and lower eccentric weight is for control circular motion of particles in the screen for getting better screening efficiency.

Flour Centrifugal Screen

 The centrifugal screen is continuous type rotary shifter to separate (classify) dry powder. The box type horizontal shifter is giving much higher output from given screen area as compare to conventional oscillating (horizontal) shifter. Both end polygonal box structure hollow shaft mounted on bushes. the polygonal drum is made after fixing the segmental screen. Horizontal blades with helical angle are fixed on paddle discs. Discs are mounted on the shaft at regular interval and rotate inside. Blades traverse along the whole length to give relative motion between screen and process material. Screw feeder feed material from inlet hopper into screen drum at feeding end. Processed material move from one end to another end with the help of helix blades. Material sieved from the screen by centrifugal force imparted on particles due to rotating blades. The bottom screw conveyor is attached below chute to collect fine material. Many outlet spouts are provided along the whole length to collect distributes fine material by the bottom conveyor. Particles which are not pass through the screen are conveyed to other end and come out from opening. Types of screen and opening of screen decide production rate.
